I. Introduction:
The X343F extended-stem American Standard plug valve has a wiping effect during the movement between its sealing surfaces. When fully open, it can completely prevent the sealing surfaces from contacting the medium, so it is suitable for media with suspended particles. The cylindrical closing element of the plug valve can be opened and closed by rotating 90°, making this valve highly suitable for occasions requiring quick opening and closing. The plug valve has a simple structure and is easy to maintain and clean. For example, in a tapered plug valve with a set screw, you can remove the set screw nut and the washer, then take out the plug from the valve body for cleaning and maintenance. Valves made of austenitic stainless steel are the preferred choice for the food and pharmaceutical industries. In emergency situations such as accidents, it can quickly connect or cut off the pipeline. Compared with gate valves and globe valves, it is more flexible to operate and faster to open and close. A plug valve uses a plug with a through hole as the opening and closing element, and the plug rotates with the valve stem to achieve the opening and closing action. The extended-stem American Standard plug valve is suitable for pipelines in industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power generation under various working conditions with a nominal pressure of CLASS150~600 Lbs and a working temperature of -29~180℃, to cut off or connect the pipeline medium.
II. Features:
